Legends Brass is excited to offer to our customers the Legends JT BC. This mouthpiece is inspired by the Jet Tone mouthpiece played by the legendary Bill Chase. The rim is relatively wide and flat and has some good undercut going into the cup. The cup is medium shallow. The entrance to the throat is open, so it yields plenty of air flow and a nice big sound. The Legends JT blank is a perfect mix of weight: just enough mass to enhance slotting and big core of sound, but not so much mass that the sound won’t sizzle! Although this piece was inspired by the classic mouthpiece played by Bill Chase, it is not a copy. The JT BC has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), throat cylinder length, and Legends S backbore. These design elements maximize endurance, range and sound for the modern player.
