The Legends JT MF Master was inspired by a Jet-Tone mouthpiece actually played by the legendary Maynard Ferguson. The rim just melts into the cup, which is a medium shallow to shallow convex V.

The rim is round with a small inside diameter (.590″), and the cup is medium shallow to shallow. The Legends LA backbore is a copy of one used by Johnny Madrid. This mouthpiece has melded inspiration from two trumpet masters – and two masters make a monster!
The Legends JT CS was inspired by a Jet-Tone mouthpiece played by the legendary Charlie Shavers. It has a wide slightly round rim and shallow cup. In case you’re “Undecided”, we offer it in seven different inside rim diameters ranging from .590″-.650″.

The JT RS was inspired by the Jet-Tone RS2, which was designed for and played by the legendary Roy Stevens. It has a round, soft rim available with inside diameters of .654″ (like the original Jet-Tone), and .624″. The cup is a shallow V bowl, and the backbore is the Legends Vegas.
The JT BC was inspired by the Bill Chase Jet-Tone mouthpiece. It has a relatively wide flat rim, a medium shallow cup, and a sound so hot it just might melt your ears!
The Legends JT AH D is based on a vintage Jet-Tone reissue AHD (Al Hirt) trumpet mouthpiece. The rim is medium round with an inside diameter of .640″. The cup depth is similar to Bach C. This mouthpiece responds easily and produces a rich sound good for concert settings and legit playing.
The Legends JT AH S is based on a vintage re-issue Jet-Tone Model AHS mouthpiece. The rim is semi-flat, with an inside diameter of .640″, and the cup is medium shallow. This mouthpiece produces a bright, crisp sound and supports precise attacks on quick-tonguing riffs. Just what you need to play Dixieland Jazz like “The King”!
The JT 2D was inspired by the Jet-Tone 2D model. It has the classic Jet-Tone D rim, which is slightly more narrow that the A-C rims. The cup is medium depth, similar to Bach C. It has a nice big .656″ inside diameter.
