Legends Brass is honored to partner with the legendary Dave Banks to offer this piece to our customers! Mr. Banks is well known as a veteran Las Vegas trumpet artist and the leader of The Dave Banks Big Band, among other endeavors.
This mouthpiece has a rim that is semi-flat and very soft. There is some undercut for chop room and bite. The cup is medium to medium shallow with an open #25 throat. This piece has low cup-volume, but the rounded entrance to the throat allows plenty of air to pass through for a nice big sound. The backbore is a Legends O, for an open, broad sound. Slotting is excellent with this model. The Legends Banks is equally suited for playing legit technical music, sophisticated big band, and screaming lead!
