Description
The Legends Screamer trumpet mouthpiece has a soft round rim which is very comfortable. Not too wide, but enough to offset lip swelling. The inside rim diameter is small (.590″), but there is some undercut for chop room. The cup is a very shallow V-bowl. The entrance to the throat is rounded and very receptive to good air flow for a nice big sound, even in the upper register. Slotting is excellent with the Screamer. The throat is a standard #27 and the backbore is a Legends S. The design elements of this piece focus on accentuating upper register playing while improving endurance and maintaining intonation.
