Description
The Legends S is our standard backbore, and is used on the majority of our one-piece mouthpieces. It has lots of core, slots well, and enhances the player’s endurance. It’s a great backbore for almost any musical situation, and has a great sound in both the lower and upper register. In our experience, this is the best backbore for the majority of players. The shank is based upon a #5 sleeve to make sure the vast majority of horns will receive it properly. The throat is a #27. This backbore is available in two blanks. The lightweight blank is less efficient and will have a slightly tighter feel. The heavyweight blank is more efficient and will feel slightly more open.
