Description
The Legends Mariachi was designed specifically for the trompetero looking for a mouthpiece that can handle the unique demands of mariachi music. The inside rim contour is sharp, which improves precision for technical motifs common in mariachi music. The cup is inspired by legendary Parduba double-cup mouthpieces. The unique shape delivers the upper register with ease and precision, which is the benefit of the shallow “upper cup”. The “lower cup” enhances core and projection, producing a rich, melodic tone. The #28 throat and Legends T backbore further enhance the focus of the sound. Tone quality, volume, and intonation are consistent across the range of the instrument. Endurance is markedly increased because less effort is required by the player to achieve a brilliant solo tone and sonorous blended accompaniment. This mouthpiece is kept in stock in the Las Vegas Showroom blank, and is available in six inside rim diameters ranging from 0.605″ to 0.655″.
