Description
Legends Matador: for when you need to take that trumpet solo by the horns! The Matador rim is semi-flat, but rounded on the inside and outside for comfort. There is a fairly sharp bite on the rim to aid with precise articulation. The cup is shallow, similar to a Bach E, which is great for the upper register. The throat is a #28, and the backbore is a Legends Manhattan, which is very focused. The Matador rim and cup will feel similar to a Best Brass TP-9E, or a Schilke 6a4a, but the Matador will play more efficiently due to the enhanced throat, enhanced throat cylinder length, and Manhattan backbore. These elements combine to make the Matador extremely efficient, allowing solo and lead trumpeters the comfort, flexibility and precision they need.
