Consistent with the Jet-Tone naming system, the &#8216;B&#8217; rim is not as rounded as the &#8216;A&#8217; rim, and the highest point of the &#8216;B&#8217; rim is closer to the middle. It is an extremely comfortable rim for the player. The cup is medium to medium shallow in depth, comparable to Bach D\/C. The entrance to the throat is open so it yields plenty of air flow and a nice big sound. The Legends JT blank is a perfect balance: enough mass to enhance slotting with a big core, but not so much mass that the sound won&#8217;t sizzle! Although this model was inspired by a Jet-Tone piece, this is not a copy! The JT 2B has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), enhanced throat cylinder length, and the Legends S backbore.\u00a0This piece can be used for legit or lead playing.
