Mr. Banks is well known as a veteran Las Vegas trumpet artist and the leader of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.davebanksbigband.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Dave Banks Big Band<\/a>, among other endeavors.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This mouthpiece has a rim that is semi-flat and very soft. There is some undercut for chop room and bite. The cup is medium to medium shallow with an open #25 throat. This piece has low cup-volume, but the rounded entrance to the throat allows plenty of air to pass through for a nice big sound. The backbore is a Legends O, for an open, broad sound. Slotting is excellent with this model.
