Description
This model has a rim and cup inspired by a vintage mouthpiece made by the legendary Al Cass. The rim is round on the inside and outside. The cup is shallow (similar to a Bach E). The rim and cup design are very similar to the original, but that is where the similarity ends. The throat on this piece is a #27, the throat cylinder length has been enhanced, and the backbore is a Legends S. These changes improve endurance, range and sound for most players. There are four similar L-AC models, each geared toward different playing styles. The L-AC 3X5 is well-suited for lead and upper register playing.
