Professional trumpet player, freelance musician, musical director, soloist, teacher, clinician – for 35 years Sammy Ceballos has dominated the Puerto Rican latin jazz and salsa scene. And now Legends Brass is making his personal mouthpiece available to the public! This mouthpiece was designed for players who like a huge sound and a wide open blow. The rim is round and comfortable. The cup is medium shallow (similar to a Bach D). The throat is a big open #25, and the entrance to the throat is shaped with a nice shoulder to accept maximum air flow. These elements are combined with the very open Legends Chicago backbore, giving the player a big wide sound with plenty of core in any register. Use this mouthpiece when you want to bring the fire!
