Description
The L-B2L rim is semi-flat but has a nice inside roundness which makes it extremely comfortable. There is some undercut for chop room, making the rim feel slightly larger than the actual measurement of .670″. The cup is medium to medium shallow, and the entrance to the throat is rounded which allows good air flow for a big sound. The cup and rim were designed to have a cushioned feel without sacrificing range or intonation. The throat is a #27, the throat cylinder length is enhanced, and the backbore is a Legends S. Slotting is excellent with this model. The L-B2L can play like a legit mouthpiece or scream like a lead mouthpiece, making it popular not only with full-time lead players, but also with classical players who occasionally need a smaller, more shallow lead mouthpiece.
