Description
The Legends SH Jazz is a great choice for smoky jazz as well as symphonic music. Based on a mouthpiece created for a legendary lead and solo jazz player, Legends Brass has replicated the original rim and cup, but made some slight changes to enhance the playability of the piece. The rim is semi-round, with a generous .663″ inside diameter. The cup depth is similar to Bach D (medium shallow). The throat is an open #25, combined with the broad-sounding Legends Chicago backbore. The Big Daddy blank adds mass to give the sound more core and a darker tone. This mouthpiece is perfect for a rich, melodious sound without sacrificing the flexibility needed for quick technical jazz solos and classical symphonic pieces.
